Botulinum Toxin Injections (e.g. Botox®, Bocouture®, Azzalure®) are the most popular form of non-surgical treatments for treating lines and wrinkles. Botulinum toxin will start to work immediately but the results will take around 5-14 days to take effect. The effect will last for approximately 3-4 months, although this varies between individuals and a time period is not guaranteed. Gradually, normal muscle use resolves, and the wrinkles or lines will start to return after this time. It is recommended that you return when you start to see this happening again if you wish for the result to be maintained.

Dermal fillers are a very popular treatment, they are used to plump up fine lines, wrinkles, some scarring and augment the lips and cheeks by restoring volume and definition. The ingredient in dermal fillers is hyaluronic acid, which is naturally occurring substance in our body. As we age we produce less of this substance, which is why our lips get thinner and our cheeks lose definition as we get older.

Botox injections are a safe and effective way to reduce sweating. They work by blocking a chemical in your body that stimulates the sweat glands. This treatment is safe and works for most people although it isn’t recommended if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have a heart or muscle condition.

Microsclerotherapy is a technique used for the removal of surface spider (thread) veins. It involves injections with a very fine needle of a sclerosing drug which  irritates  the lining of the veins causing the walls to stick together. Blood stops flowing through the veins, which are then absorbed by the body over a period of  a few weeks.

60 – 70% percent of  veins treated at any one session usually disappear. Most or all vessels treated during the course of microsclerotherapy will be removed. However, the rate of response differs between patients. The number of treatments and time taken to get to the final outcome are difficult to predict in advance but the average number of sessions needed is 3
